About Us:

We are a certified home health agency serving the Treasure Coast. We are seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting on a flexible, per-visit basis.

Position Overview:

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will evaluate and treat patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care. This role is structured as an independent contractor (1099), offering flexibility and autonomy in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform initial and ongoing occupational therapy evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence.
Complete accurate and timely documentation (including OASIS when applicable).
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
Educate patients and caregivers on safety and home programs.

Qualifications:

Active Florida Occupational Therapist license.
Minimum 1 year of home health experience preferred.
Experience with OASIS documentation strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Axxess software is a plus (not required).
Current CPR certification.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Strong clinical and documentation skills.

Credentialing Requirements:

Must be able to provide all required professional credentials, including:
- Active license verification.
- Current certifications (e.g., CPR).
- Continuing education (CEU) records as applicable.
Must maintain compliance with all state and federal home health requirements.

Compensation:

Competitive per-visit rates (based on experience and visit type).
Flexible scheduling.

Independent Contractor (1099) Notice:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 employment role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and scheduling availability. This role does not include employee benefits.

Work Environment & Expectations:

Contractors maintain control over their schedules and availability.
Visits are assigned based on coverage needs and contractor preference.
Must be able to travel within assigned service areas.
